The Firm
Founded in 2000 by people who had seen how it goes wrong.
The attorneys who started Flynn Law Firm had worked at larger firms. They left because of what they saw there — clients treated as file numbers, calls that went unreturned, and bills that grew faster than the case did.
Flynn Law Firm PLLC opened in 2000. The attorneys who started it had come from larger firms, and they had a specific complaint about how those places worked: clients became file numbers, calls went unreturned, and the bill grew faster than the case did.
Nothing about the remedy was clever. Answer the phone. Explain the process in language a person can use. Do not take on more cases than you can actually give attention to. Twenty-five years later that is still the whole operating theory, and it is why the firm has stayed deliberately small.
Large-firm expertise with small-firm attention. It is a slogan that a lot of firms use. The difference is whether you can still get the person on the phone in month seven.
One side, always
We have never represented an insurance company or an employer in a workers' compensation or injury matter. That is a structural choice rather than a moral one — a firm that defends carriers on Tuesday and sues them on Thursday is managing conflicts we would rather not have.
Where the work comes from
A large share of it arrives by referral: past clients, their families, and other attorneys who send us the workers' compensation matters they do not handle themselves. A meaningful proportion comes from within Oklahoma's Spanish-speaking communities, which is directly connected to the next point.
Se habla español
Bilingual is not an add-on here.
The firm has long maintained one of the deeper bilingual support teams among Tulsa injury practices — Spanish-speaking staff who answer the phone directly, rather than an interpreter service you have to book.
It matters more than it sounds. A workers' compensation claim turns on exact details: precisely when you told your supervisor, precisely what you said, precisely what the doctor wrote in the chart. Those details do not survive being relayed through a third party on a phone line.
Our legacy
Robert Flynn (1950–2025) was part of the foundation of this firm. The way it works — plainly spoken, unhurried with clients, unimpressed by the other side — came substantially from him, and it did not leave when he did. Confirm full legal name (Robert A. or Robert F.) and approve memorial wording with the family
The firm continues under Michael D. Flynn and Pamla K. Cornett.

How we work
Six things you can hold us to
-
01
An honest first answer
If we do not think you have a case worth pursuing, we will say so on the first call rather than signing you up and finding out later.
-
02
Nothing up front
Contingency fee on every case. No recovery, no attorney fee. The consultation is free and obligates you to nothing.
-
03
You will reach a person
You will know who is handling your file. Returned calls are not a service upgrade here, they are the baseline.
-
04
Plain language
If you leave a conversation with us not understanding what happens next, we have done it wrong. Ask us to say it again.
-
05
English or Spanish
From the first call, without arranging an interpreter, and without needing to bring a relative to translate for you.
-
06
The arithmetic in writing
Before anything is finalised you will see exactly what is being paid, what is being deducted, and what reaches you.
No cost to find out
Tell us what happened. We'll tell you honestly whether you have a claim.
Including when the answer is no. The consultation is free, it obligates you to nothing, and you can have it in English or Spanish.
